When creating
Lego cities, there are always ways to make it look much better, one of the best ways to make your city look even greater is to add details.
There are many kind of details to add, today we will talk about sidewalks.
Lego plates used as a base usually have visible studs, the studs are the basis for holding your pieces when connecting, however, when creating a city with roads, sometimes you do not want to have the studs visible, here is where the sidewalk techniques come to play.
You can achieve this by using
Lego Tiles of your choice,
2x2 Tiles,
1x4 Tiles, or any other
tile of your choice.
Now, there is a catch to this, if you fill every single space with tiles, you will lose the ability to have your minifigures standing connected to the studs because there will be no more available studs since they will be hidden below the tiles, in order to have cool sidewalks and still keep the ability to connect the minifigures, you can use a combination of tiles and
1x2 plates with knobs, these have a single knob which you can use to place things such as minifigures, garbage cans, and similar.
